For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
The heat will be ramping up through the middle of this week, with
temperatures from the 90s to low 100s. Highs in the 70 to 85 degree range
are generally expected for higher elevations. Isolated to scattered showers
and storms are expected across the San Juans Monday afternoon. Gusty winds,
small hail, and lightning will be the main hazards. Little to no rain
chances are expected from Tuesday onward. Try and prepare for this
prolonged hot period and check up on friends and neighbors who might be
more sensitive to the heat.
