For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Increasing moisture will bring another day of showers and thunderstorms to
the region. Convection will begin over the higher terrain, then spread over
the adjacent valleys through the afternoon and evening. Concerns today will
be primarily outflow winds gusting 40-50 mph and frequent lightning,
although chances for heavy rain and localized flash flooding will be on the
increase. Tomorrow precipitation is will become more widespread as moisture
continues to move into the area, bringing more concern for heavy rain and
flooding issues. Temperatures will be slightly cooler today.
