For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue through the morning,
bringing frequent lightning, gusty winds, and brief heavy rain. This
activity will come to an end from southwest to northeast through the
afternoon, with skies clearing out rapidly this evening. Strong, gusty
southwest winds continue today as well, with widespread gusts of 30-40 mph
expected, and locally higher values possible. A Wind Advisory remains in
effect from 10AM to 5PM for some of the lower valleys near the Four
Corners. Temperatures will be much cooler today and tomorrow, 10-15 degrees
below what we saw as a high yesterday, and around 5 degrees below early
October norms.
