...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DELTA AND
NORTHEASTERN MONTROSE COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM MDT...

At 1159 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Orchard City to 8 miles southwest of Delta.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Montrose, Delta, Orchard City, Cedaredge, Olathe, Hotchkiss,
Crawford, Lazear, Cory, Eckert, and Austin.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 126 and 130.
 U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 63 and 97.
 Colorado 65 between mile markers 1 and 13.
 Colorado 90 between mile markers 86 and 89.
 Colorado 92 between mile markers 1 and 32.
 Colorado 133 between mile markers 1 and 4.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
