...A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT PARTS OF HIGHWAY 160 BETWEEN
MANCOS AND DURANGO...

HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility to
less than a quarter of a mile and wind gusts over 40 mph.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 805 PM MST, a band of heavy snow was near
Mancos, or 17 miles west of Durango moving east at 15 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED...
Areas near and along Highway 160 between Mancos and Durango.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 21 and 24.
 U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 58 and 85.
 Colorado 140 between mile markers 19 and 23.

SAFETY INFO...
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
