.DISCUSSION...Increasing moisture across the area will lead to showers
and thunderstorms forming over the higher terrain this afternoon, and
spreading over adjacent valleys. Main threats with these storms will be
frequent lightning and outflow winds capable of gusting 40-50 mph.
Tomorrow will see increasing chances of widespread wetting rain and
localized flash flooding concerns in prone locations. Temperatures will
be cooler and minimum RH values will be on the increase.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (30-40 percent). Slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms after 1500.
CWR.................10 percent.
Max temperature.....90-95.
Min humidity........11-16 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South winds 4-8 mph increasing to 8-12 mph after
                    1500. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor (4000-32000 knot-ft) increasing to fair by
                    1100, to good by 1200, and to very good by 1300.
                    Decreasing again to good by 1700.
Mixing height.......1500 ft AGL increasing to 14500 ft AGL by 1400.
Transport winds.....South 10 mph.
