...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding and rockslides caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the
  following county, Mesa.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water over Interstate 70 is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 635 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly over I-70 through De Beque Canyon.
  - I-70 through De Beque Canyon is the most likely place to
    experience minor flooding and/or rockslides.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of North Central Mesa County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
