...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MITCHELL...SOUTHEASTERN JEWELL
AND SOUTHERN OSBORNE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM CDT...

At 438 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jamestown to 7 miles north of Victor to 7
miles southwest of Luray. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to around 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Beloit, Cawker City, Glen Elder, Tipton, Asherville, Simpson,
Randall, Hunter, Scottsville, and Victor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
north central Kansas.
