...NWS Damage Survey for July 1, 2024 Tornado Event...

.Overview...Staff from the National Weather Service (NWS)
in Hastings conducted a damage survey of the tornadoes
which occurred on Monday, July 1st. At this time,
a total of 2 tornadoes have been confirmed based on pictures and
video during the event. Both of these tornadoes were brief lasting
around 1 minute or less and did not result in any discernible
damage as they occurred over open countryside. No injuries or
fatalities were reported. A summary of each event follows.
