...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as -15 to -25 degrees, mainly
  during the overnight and morning hours.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central
  Nebraska.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite
  on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and
  hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these
  temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Even during the afternoon hours on Sunday and
  Monday, there will be limited relief from the cold, with wind
  chill readings likely climbing no higher than single digits above
  or below zero.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
