Morning Fog potential: At some point this morning, at least patchy fog, if not more concentrated areas of fog, could develop over southern parts of our area, particularly within counties along and especially south of the Nebraska-Kansas border where snow cover is deepest. Some dense fog is possible on at least a localized basis, which could reduce visibility to around 1/4 mile or less. Any fog that develops will gradually dissipate from northwest-to-southeast as winds gradually increase behind a passing front. Snow shower potential: Primarily between 10 AM and 9 PM, a band of snow showers, perhaps briefly starting as rain in some spots, will gradually pass through our area from northwest-to-southeast. Although actual snow accumulation will be minor, likely no more than a few tenths of an inch in most spots, any briefly-heavier snow showers that might develop could combine with north winds gusting to around 35 MPH to briefly reduce visibility below 1 mile, and perhaps cause slick spots. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings $$ Pfannkuch
