This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be scattered across south central Nebraska and
north central Kansas this afternoon. T

he thunderstorms will not be severe, but the atmospheric
conditions are such that some storms may produce brief funnels.
The funnels are weak and unlikely to reach the ground. Some
thunderstorms may also produce some locally heavy rainfall,
possibly in excess of two inches, which may cause minor issues
in low lying areas.

The thunderstorms will diminish by early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms return to the forecast next weekend. Heat index
values may exceed 100 degrees on Friday and Saturday.
