.DISCUSSION...
The overall fire weather threat will be highest today and Friday,
but humidity and winds should remain below critical thresholds both
days.
Today, afternoon humidity is expected to dip below 25% in western
areas. Fortunately, north winds remain fairly light, with afternoon
gusts in the 10-20 MPH range.
Stronger south winds return on Friday (gusts 15-25 MPH), and
humidity is again expected to dip in the 20-30% range for much of the
area.
Widespread rain is expected Saturday through Sunday, and cooler
weather settles into the area for next week.
