This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds of
Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today partly cloudy skies will increase in cloudiness as the day
goes on and an Alberta Clipper system moves in. A wintry mix of
precipitation will begin late this afternoon. Tonight wintry mix
will transition to moderate snow in areas of higher elevation and
freezing rain is possible south of the Missouri River.

Highs today will range from the 30s to the low 40s. Lows tonight
will be in the 20s throughout the region.

Saturday snow will be ending for most of the region, except for
areas of higher elevation. Wind gusts up to 40 mph may cause
blowing snow throughout the region. Highs on Saturday will be in
the 30s.
