This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

A deep trough and cold front will approach from the west today,
with light rain and snow across central Montana by late afternoon
and rain and snow across the remainder of the region tonight and
Saturday.

Clouds will increase from south to north across the region today.
There will be light rain or a light rain and snow mix moving into
central Montana during the late afternoon. Highs will be in the
mid 40s to the mid 50s.

Rain will move east across the region this evening and become
mixed with or change to snow late tonight. Lows tonight will be in
the 20s in most areas and lower 30s over parts of eastern Montana
and western North Dakota.

Snow mixed at times with rain will continue on Saturday over most
of the region and diminish from west to east during the afternoon
and evening. Highs will be in the 30s to lower 40s.
