URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

.Unusually warm temperature and gusty wind will lead to near
critical fire weather conditions. A surface trough running from
Jordan to Wolf Point to Sheridan County will become the focal
point for thunderstorms and dying cells could generate fire runs
tipping the critical conditions just over the edge.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 9 PM MDT
THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONES 120, 122, 136, AND 137...

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT
this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 120, 122, 136, and 137.

* WIND...Southwest at 15 to 25 mph gusting as high as 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY...as low as 13 percent.

* THUNDERSTORMS... Isolated storms are expected along a line from
  Jordan to Wolf Point to Plentywood in the late afternoon through
  the evening. Any dying cells could create severe gusts/outflow
  causing sudden fire runs.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these
areas of this Red Flag Warning.
