.DISCUSSION...

Recent weather pattern of late will persist today through Friday
morning for the burn site, resulting in some additional occasional
light snow showers or flurries and light easterly winds at less
than 10 mph. More notable will be a change in the weather pattern
from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, which will bring a
winter storm to the area. Expect snow accumulations around 6 to 8
inches and easterly winds around 20 mph. Temperatures will remain
well below freezing so, gumbo roads will not be a problem, but
slippery roads and reduced visibility in blowing snow will make
travel difficult until at least Saturday evening.
