452 FNUS55 KGGW 082030 FWFGGW Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northeast Montana National Weather Service Glasgow MT 230 PM MDT Tue Jul 8 2025 .DISCUSSION... A strong ridge of high pressure will continue building across the area through Wednesday. Expect elevated fire concerns with high temperatures around 100 degrees and minimum humidity as low as 10 percent, creating a significant moisture deficit. A limiting factor during the mid-day through afternoon hours will be wind speeds generally less than 15 mph, however any isolated thunderstorms (5-20% chance) that collapse into this environment could lead to sudden gusty or near-severe downdraft wind gusts that could start or fan on-going fires. A cold front Thursday morning will bring cooler temperatures through Friday. Another ridge will raise temperatures again over the weekend followed by another cool down on Monday.
