.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are expected mid
afternoon across the west with heavy rainfall potential. Strongest
Wetting rains will be across the west. Storms will gradually
spread east into the evening hours. Some isolated cells in the
afternoon and evening could become severe with large hail or
damaging winds. Widespread showers will then persist across the
region into Tuesday morning. Moving ahead, an active pattern
overall will remain in place through the week with on and off
thunderstorm chances. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels
for the next few days but drift lower toward the end of the week.
