OCTOBER WAS A WARM AND DRY MONTH. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 52.2
DEGREES WHICH WAS 7.0 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. IT TIES 1965 FOR BEING
THE 5TH WARMEST OCTOBER ON RECORD. THE HIGH FOR THE MONTH WAS 83 ON
THE 4TH, 8TH AND 9TH. THE LOW FOR THE MONTH WAS 23 ON THE 30TH.

PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW NORMAL WITH 0.33 INCHES. ALL OF THE
PRECIPITATION FELL BETWEEN 9 PM AND MIDNIGHT ON OCTOBER 21. NORMAL
PRECIPITATION FOR OCTOBER IS 0.92 INCHES.

THERE WAS NO SNOW DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER. IT WAS THE FIRST
OCTOBER WITH NO SNOW AT ALL SINCE 2015. NORMAL SNOWFALL FOR OCTOBER IS
1.5 INCHES.

THE PEAK WIND SPEED FOR THE MONTH WAS 92 MPH ON THE 4TH WHICH SET AN
ALL TIME RECORD FOR PEAK WIND FOR GLASGOW. THE PREVIOUS PEAK WIND
RECORD WAS 82 MPH SET ON JULY 3, 2000. THE PREVIOUS RECORD FOR PEAK
WIND GUST IN OCTOBER WAS 74 MPH ON OCTOBER 30, 2020. THERE WAS ALSO A
PEAK WINDS OF 57 MPH ON THE 5TH. THE WINDIEST DAY WAS ON THE 5TH
WITH AN AVERAGE WIND SPEED OF 20.1 MPH.

LOOKING AHEAD TO NOVEMBER, THE NORMAL HIGH STARTS AT 47 ON THE 1ST
AND COOLS TO 34 AT THE END OF THE MONTH. THE NORMAL LOW BEGINS AT 26
