.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

1) Unsettled weather with frequent opportunities for showers and
thunderstorms will continue through next weekend.

2) The most frequent storms will be Wednesday and Thursday.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

There will be frequent shortwave troughs this week moving through
the forecast area within a NW flow aloft pattern. These waves will
combine with unstable airmass to produce showers and thunderstorms
at times. The showers and thunderstorms will be more frequent in
the afternoon and evening each day. At this point, the strongest
of these shortwave troughs will be on Wednesday and Thursday which
has the highest chances for precipitation at this point. Temperatures
will either be near normal or slightly below this week.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

Confidence is low on timing any specific rounds of precipitation
this week. Wednesday afternoon (40-80%) and Thursday afternoon
(60-80%) have the best chances for precipitation at this point.
Expect precipitation amounts to be highly variable.
