NOVEMBER 2024 FINISHED WARMER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL OVER NORTHEAST
WASHINGTON AND THE NORTH IDAHO PANHANDLE.  FOR SPOKANE IT WAS THE
11TH WETTEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD, AND THE WETTEST SINCE 2006 WITH A
TOTAL OF 4.24 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION DURING THE MONTH. JUST NORTH
OF SPOKANE, CLAYTON PICKED UP 8.47 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FOR THE
MONTH. PRECIPITATION FELL AS A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW IN THE VALLEYS
WHILE SNOW PILED UP IN THE MOUNTAINS.  A STORM ON THE 20TH AND 21ST
PRODUCED HEAVY SNOW NEAR THE CANADIAN BORDER WITH 11" IN NAPLES,
8.5" PRIEST LAKE, AND 6" IN METALINE FALLS.  ON THE 22ND THE SPOKANE
AIPORT PICKED UP 0.90 INCHES OF RAIN MAKING THE WETTEST DAY OF 2024
SO FAR. SEVERAL AREA SKI RESORTS BY MONTHS END REPORTED 2 TO 3 FEET
OF SNOW ON THE GROUND.

NO RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH AT THE SPOKANE AIRPORT.
