.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact the
burn site Tuesday morning, and continue on and off into the
afternoon hours. Lightning and gusty, erratic winds will be the
main threat with any storm. Otherwise, south-southwest winds
around 5-10 mph will prevail, with high temperatures in the low
90s and humidity dropping to around 58%. Mixing heights around
4700 ft and transport winds around 15 mph will allow for efficient
smoke dispersal towards the southwest. For Wednesday, additional
scattered showers and storms may impact the burn site during the
early morning hours, and again over the afternoon. Wednesday highs
will peak in the low-mid 90s, with humidity dropping to around
53%. Winds will remain out of the S-SW around 5-10 mph, outside of
any gusty, erratic winds near thunderstorms.
