.DISCUSSION...
The scattered showers that developed across the region this
morning will continue moving off to the east through the
afternoon. Rain chances will decrease rapidly after 1200 PM CST
with low chances (less than 30%) for a few light showers across
the area over the next few hours. No additional precipitation is
expected at Lake Whitney after 3 PM CST. Otherwise, cloudy
conditions will persist overnight with gradual clearing after
daybreak Thursday. Winds will continue to be light and variable
this afternoon and evening before a cold front arrives tonight
(after 7 PM CST) with north winds behind it. Pockets of patchy fog
are possible this evening ahead of the front. For tomorrow, winds
will be from the north around 5-10 mph gusting to 15 mph.
