The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Hill County in central Texas...
  Northwestern Ellis County in north central Texas...
  Eastern Johnson County in north central Texas...

* Until 730 PM CST.

* At 558 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Cedar Hill, Waxahachie, Midlothian,
  Glenn Heights, Red Oak, Alvarado, Ovilla, Venus, Itasca,
  Grandview, Oak Leaf, Maypearl, Covington, Carl`s Corner, Parker,
  Griffith, Five Points and Lovelace.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35W between mile markers 1 and 25.
    Just west of Interstate 35E between Hillsboro and Red Oak.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
