.DISCUSSION...

A much warmer day is ahead with highs into the mid 70s to lower
80s. In addition, southerly winds will increase with gusts of 30
to 40 mph into this evening. This will result in a locally
elevated fire danger in spite of afternoon RH values ranging from
45 to 60 percent. Low rain chances can be expected west of the
James River through the day, though increasing by late afternoon
into this evening.

Temperatures will begin to cool on Friday, and while it will be
somewhat breezy, winds will be lighter than today. Temperatures
cool further for the weekend, with the next chance of light
showers coming on Saturday.
