.DISCUSSION...

Breezy and warm conditions continue through the upcoming weekend.
On Saturday, we`ll see the development of 25 to 35 mph southerly
winds, with the highest gusts along and west of Interstate 29.
While relative humidity values will drop between 30 and 35 percent
in most areas, critical fire danger is not expected. However,
elevated fire danger will lead to concerns given increased
agricultural activities in the region.

By Sunday a cold front will approach from the west later in the
afternoon. Ahead of this front, very warm temperatures along with
gusty southerly winds up to 30 mph will develop in areas along and
east of I-29. Elevated fire danger will once again be possible.

Rain chances will be possible at times through the weekend, but
rain totals are not expected to amount to more than 0.10 to 0.25
inches and be very localized.
