.DISCUSSION...Partly cloudy skies will kick off this morning, which will
slightly delay the start of afternoon convection. Expect the first storms to begin firing
up around 1200 MST (noon) and continue through at least 2000 MST this evening. We cannot
completely rule out a stray shower overnight, but impacts should be minimal. Main
hazards expected from storm development will be gusty/erratic winds, small hail,
frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. Chances for showers/storms will increase
through the beginning of the week. The best chance for a break in monsoon activity
will be towards the end of the week (Thursday and Friday).

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Sunny then increasing cloud cover throughout the day. Slight chance
                    of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.
Chance of pcpn......30-40 percent between 1100-1700 MST.
Max temperature.....85-90 degrees.
Min humidity........24-28 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........East winds around 5-10 mph shifting to the
                    southwest by 1300 MST and becoming more westerly
                    throughout the day. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near thunderstorms.
