.DISCUSSION...Wednesday and Thursday...Hot and mostly dry
conditions will continue today and Thursday. Isolated to scattered
showers/storms expected across Apache and Navajo counties each afternoon.
Gusty/erratic winds and dry lightning will be the main concerns with
storm development. Look for southwest winds 10-20 mph gusting up to
30 mph, where strongest winds will likely be across western Coconino
County. Minimum RH values will be 7-14% each afternoon.
Friday through Sunday...Moisture looks to increase across northern
AZ each day, with best chances for showers/storms along and south of
a Grand Canyon-Window Rock line. Even with potential for additional
convective activity, minimum RH values will generally be 10-25%.
Look for west-southwest winds 10-20 mph each afternoon, with gusts
near 30 mph on Friday.
