...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding along and near Tonto Creek is expected through
  this evening. Heavy rain over the past 24 hours is working down
  the drainage and producing a significant rise in Tonto Creek.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Arizona, including the following
  county, Gila.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks and normally dry washes is imminent
  or occurring. Low water crossings will be inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1120 AM MST, a river gauge on Tonto Creek continued to
    indicate water levels at 6.0 feet - about two feet above the
    action stage for the area. Water levels should continue at
    this level for the next couple hours, and decrease later this
    afternoon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tonto Basin area along and near Tonto Creek.
  - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
