The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 715 PM MST /815 PM MDT/.

* At 408 PM MST /508 PM MDT/, stream gauges on the Moenkopi Wash,
  located just south of the Village of Moenkopi, indicated levels
  have risen about 10.3 feet. The wash remains in major flood stage
  at that point and still rising slowly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Automated stream gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Moenkopi Wash, Hamblin Wash and Begashibito Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will
become muddy and impassable.
