Gila County in east central Arizona... Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 945 PM MST. * At 639 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across a broad area from Forest Lakes southwestward. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazardous driving conditions are possible along portions of State Highway 260 west of Forest Lakes. HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Woods Canyon Lake Campground, Spillway Campground, Sinkhole Campground, Rim Campground, Forest Road 237 Camping Area, Forest Road 171 Camping Area, Haigler Canyon Campground, Canyon Point Campground, Alderwood Campground, Airplane Flat Campground, Aspen Campground, Colcord Ridge Campground, Crook Campground, Mogollon Campground, Sinkhole Campground, Larson Ridge Camping Area, Forest Road 9512E Camping Area, Mogollon Rim Campground and Upper Canyon Creek Campground.
