The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Polk County in northwestern Minnesota...
  Southeastern Grand Forks County in northeastern North Dakota...
  Northeastern Traill County in southeastern North Dakota...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 745 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Reynolds, or
  15 miles south of Grand Forks, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Thompson, Reynolds, Climax, Nielsville, Eldred, Harold, and
  Greenview.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 121 and 132.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
