Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...Northwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the south
10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly cloudy. Highs 35 to
45.
.TONIGHT...Windy. South winds 25 to 35 mph. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in
the mid 30s.
.SUNDAY...Very windy. Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph shifting to
the northwest 30 to 45 mph in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
Mostly sunny. Highs in the 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...North winds around 10 mph early in the morning becoming
light, then becoming southwest around 10 mph late in the
afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly cloudy. Highs 35 to 45.
.TONIGHT...Windy. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to
south 20 to 30 mph after midnight. Waves 1 foot or less building
to 3 to 5 feet after midnight. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid
30s.
.SUNDAY...Windy. Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
Mostly sunny. Highs 45 to 55.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph early in the morning
becoming light, then becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph in the
afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly cloudy. Highs 35 to 45.
.TONIGHT...Very windy. South winds 15 to 25 mph increasing to
25 to 40 mph after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet. Mostly cloudy.
Lows in the mid 30s.
