Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms the
afternoon and evening of Friday the 4th of July. The main hazards
will be frequent lightning, hail to 1.5 inch, wind gusts 70 mph
and heavy rain.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms mid to
late afternoon today in southeast North Dakota and west central
Minnesota. Coverage of storms will be isolated, so many areas will
not get anything. But storms that do form are capable of
producing hail to 1 inch and wind gusts 60 mph.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms the
afternoon and evening of Friday the 4th of July. The main hazards
will be frequent lightning, hail to 1.5 inch, wind gusts 70 mph
and heavy rain.
