.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! Warm and mostly dry conditions are anticipated for
Franklin, GA on July 4th. Scattered cloud cover may pass overhead
through the course of the day and the chance for any thunderstorms
remains low (10%). If an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm
were to develop the best timeframe would be between 2 PM to 9 PM.
Though at this time the best chance for any rain showers or
thunderstorms will be confined to areas southeast of Macon, GA
well to the south and east of Franklin. Winds will be out of the
east at less than 10 MPH. Temperatures on the morning of the 4th
will start off in the low 70s warming into the mid to upper 80s by
mid-day reaching a high temperatures of around 91. Maximum heat
indices during the afternoon will range from 92 to 95.
