.DISCUSSION...
Patchy fog remains a possibility this morning particularly in low-
lying areas and anywhere that received decent rainfall yesterday.
Any fog should burn off shortly after sunrise. The fire weather risk
remains low through Friday given continued humid conditions and
wetting rainfall expected each day. Storm coverage will remain
greatest and more widespread in Central Georgia and far northeast
Georgia this afternoon and evening. Similar to previous days,
stronger storms could produce hourly rain rates of over 2 inches per
hour and wind gusts up to 50 MPH. Minimum RH values in the upper 50s
to mid 60s are expected this afternoon and above 65% on Friday
afternoon. Light winds (< 6 kts) out of the NNW to WNW in western GA
and more variable in eastern GA this afternoon.
