.DISCUSSION...
Low rain chances (20-30%) will remain a possibility through the
afternoon primarily across the Conasauga District as a result of an
upper level disturbance just to our west. Any lingering rain showers
(20-30%) on Friday are likely to be confined to portions of the
Oconee District (east-central GA). Rain totals are still expected to
be less than a tenth of an inch overall. Clouds still around through
the remainder of today and will begin to clear across North Georgia
overnight and on Friday. East-southeast to northeast winds will
remain breezy through Friday with sustained winds 10-15 MPH and
gusts up to 25 MPH. Relative humidity is forecast to remain well
above the critical threshold of 25% through Friday given cooler
conditions.
