.DISCUSSION...
Another day of scattered showers and thunderstorms is expected
for today but mainly over central Georgia. Main threats will be
lightning and gusty winds. Rainfall amounts should be less than a
quarter of an inch over the next two days for north Georgia and
1.25" or less for central Georgia. As a result of the increased
showers, the min RH values will hover between 45-55% for much of
the area through Tuesday. Meanwhile, our winds will be from the
northeast today before switching to the east on Tuesday, with both
days having winds at 5-7mph. Tuesday could see gusts up to 20 mph
over north Georgia but central Georgia looks to be confined to
less than 15 mph.
