The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Montgomery County in central Georgia...
  Northern Wheeler County in central Georgia...
  Southern Treutlen County in east central Georgia...

* Until 1100 AM EST.

* At 555 AM EST, radar and automated rain gauges indicated 2 and 4
  inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.75 to
  1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Soperton, Alamo, Glenwood, Tarrytown, Landsburg, Barnhill, Lothair
  and Zaidee.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Little Creek, Tiger Creek, Peterson Creek, Bobtail Creek, Little
  Cypress Creek, Pendleton Creek, Buck Creek, Larry Creek, Ochwalkee
  Creek, Little Red Bluff Creek, Mill Creek, Little Ocmulgee River,
  Naked Creek, Oconee River, Cypress Creek, Camp Branch, Long Creek,
  Alligator Creek, Oconee Branch and Bear Creek.
