...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Val
Verde County through 300 AM CDT...

At 157 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorms from Shumla, or 9 miles southeast of Langtry, and
points northward across Val Verde County, moving north at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shumla, Bakers Crossing, Seminole Canyon State Park, Pecos River Boat
Ramp, Juno, and Devils River State Nat Area Del Norte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
