...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TUESDAY FOR
THE SOUTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU, HILL COUNTRY, I-35 CORRIDOR, AND
COASTAL PLAINS...

* WHAT...Very cold night and morning wind chills as low 7 to 10
  degrees across the Southern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country, and
  as low 10 to 15 degrees across the I-35 Corridor, and Coastal
  Plains.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
  exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
