winds and dry air behind a cold front...
.DISCUSSION...
Morning humidity recovery is estimated to be around 65 percent as winds
currently remain light and generally from the southwest to west. Winds
will shift to the northwest and increase around 0900. Around 1100 local,
the winds will shift again to the north and become gusty as the cooler
and drier air arrives behind the cold front. Expect gusty north winds to
continue through most of the daytime hours along with minimum humidity
levels near 25 percent. Wind speeds will drop shortly after sunset as
the wind direction trends more to the northwest overnight. The cooler
temperatures tonight into Thursday morning will allow humidity recovery
near 70 percent. Light and terrain dominated winds Thursday morning
will become southerly in the afternoon as daytime highs peak near 71
degrees along with minimum humidity levels near 22 percent.
