.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm daytime temperatures continue with most areas
likely remaining dry through early next week. High pressure with dry
east to northeast flow will support 20 to 30% minimum RH values
today and Wednesday for the Coastal Plains, I-35 corridor, and
portions of the Hill Country. Wednesday looks to be the driest day
in the short term. 20-foot winds remain below 10 mph, but dry fuels
and long-term rainfall deficits could still enable locally elevated
fire weather concerns. Some moistening is expected Thursday and
Friday with a return of southerly winds. There are low chances for
isolated showers across the Coastal Plains Friday to Sunday and
across the Hill Country and portions of the I-35 corridor Saturday.
A front arrives sometime Saturday to Saturday night with only
minimal decreases in temperatures and more substantial reduction in
RH to 20 to 30% for Sunday.
