.DISCUSSION...
Showers continuing today into Friday will limit fire weather
conditions. Additional rainfall totals through Friday range from
around 1 to 3 inches over the Coastal Plains to roughly 1 inch
along the I-35 corridor with lower amounts farther west. Warm and
mostly dry weather is forecast for the weekend into next week,
with winds remaining light through midweek. Most areas should see
afternoon relative humidities remain above 30 percent, though an
advancing dry line Sunday should briefly bring 15 to 20 percent
minimum RH values over the southern Edwards Plateau.
