.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions and warm daytime temperatures continue through at
least early next week. Winds begin to shift from the southeast
Thursday, leading to slight moistening Thursday and Friday with RH
minimums of 30 to 50 percent. There are low chances for isolated
showers across the Coastal Plains on Friday afternoon. A dry front
may arrive from the northwest Saturday with only minimal decreases
in temperatures and more substantial reduction in relative humidity
values to the upper teens to mid 20s across South-Central Texas
for Sunday. Breezy post-frontal winds could briefly shift to
northerlies Sunday with 20 ft winds of 10 to 15 mph possible,
potentially leading to elevated fire weather conditions. However,
significant uncertainties remain regarding the timing of the
front.
