.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm daytime temperatures continue with most areas
remaining dry through early next week. A weak cold front will
bring low rain chances (10-20%) across portions of the Hill
Country, I-35 corridor, and Coastal Plains Friday through this
weekend. Deeper moisture surges over the Rio Grande Plains into
the Edwards Plateau today with minimum RH of 30-50%. Otherwise,
minimum RH of 20-30% can be expected today and Wednesday.
Increasing moisture will result in minimum RH of 30-40% Thursday
through Saturday. In wake of the frontal passage, minimum RH will
fall back into the 20-30% range for Sunday. 20-foot winds will be
lighter during periods of low RH keeping fire weather impacts to
a minimum. However, lack of significant wetting rains allows for
additional drying of fuels.
