.DISCUSSION...
Today is the last day for unseasonably warm temperatures with
unseasonably cool temperatures forecast Saturday through Monday.
The lowest humidity today is expected over the Rio Grande Plains
from the upper teens to around 25 percent, but wind should be
below 10 mph. Some low chances for wetting rain are seen during
the day today with the best chances overnight tonight into
Saturday morning. Near critical fire weather conditions may
return to the Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains Saturday and
Sunday during the afternoon hours due to minimum humidities in the
teens and 20s along with gusty northerly winds. Dry conditions
are seen next week along with a warming trend. Low humidity is
seen over the western half of the area next week which could lead
to periods of elevated fire weather conditions.
