.DISCUSSION...
A cool weather pattern with below average temperatures continues
through the week. A drier airmass briefly returns for Tuesday,
but minimum relative humidities are forecast to remain above 30
percent with light daytime winds mostly below 5 mph. Southerly
flow temporarily reestablishes Wednesday before a shallow cold
front Thursday restores northerly winds. A breezy post-frontal
environment is possible Thursday, but the cooler air should
support higher moisture levels. Rain chances increase Wednesday
night through Friday, mostly favoring the Coastal Plains with
more uncertain chances farther west. No fire weather concerns are
expected over the week.
