.DISCUSSION...
Relative humidity will remain at or above 25% Friday and Saturday
with wind remaining on the lighter side. Southerly flow this
weekend will bring increased moisture back to the area Sunday and
Monday. There will be very low rain chances in the north Sunday
afternoon and evening as a weak cold front passes by to our
north. A stronger cold front will bring a 20-30# chance for
showers and isolated thunderstorms Monday night across the
southern Edwards Plateau, and Tuesday morning across the northern
I-35 corridor.
Strong northwest winds are forecast to develop through the Rio
Grande, southern Edwards Plateau, and Hill Country Tuesday afternoon
behind a Pacific cold front. That front will also bring much drier
air to this region. Red Flag conditions appear likely Tuesday
afternoon across the Rio Grande, southern Edwards Plateau and
Hill Country. The dry conditions continue into Wednesday, although
wind speeds won`t be as strong.
